You will activate your full creativity that way!
Remember, copying can be helpful to practice, and get inspiration.
Beside that, the key to draw from imagination is to learn drawing with a 3D vision.

Cannot space columns in a perspective a la the Pantheon.
I’m from Brazil and I’m 53 years old. When I was younger I liked drawing and I spent many years stopping and today I decided to draw again. I intend to improve my strokes and drawing to improve my watercolor paintings. I heard about you on a Brazilian artist’s channel who mentioned your channel very briefly in a video and said that you taught beginner artists how to improve their drawings. My difficulty today is improving perspectives, proportions and the fundamentals of drawing.
