hello! I am from China. My major is industrial design.I want to develop my level of sketch to express my idea so that I can be a good designer
Hey Charles,
Yeah you are right, to be a good designer it’s essential to merge both sketching skills and idea generation.
Hope you will find the blog helpful. 🙂
Hi
Just signed up to your sketch guide and have 4-6 months to get my sketching up to scratch. My CAD work far exceeds what I can sketch, mainly cause I can visualise it in my head and find it easier CAD it. However I need to develop my sketching skills. Other then your guide, what else is there to do. I want to set up a schedule for day to day sketch work. What do you suggest.
Uni for me starts in Jan.
Thanks
Josh

This is totally awesome, thanks a lot for providing us this awesome stuff… Really glad I found this site. Man, you did a great job…. Btw Name is Helmy, wannabee graphic designer from Indonesia. Nice to meet you
And I really really need this learning how to sketch cuz I’m a complete zero for drawing….
Hey Helsmkiiz,
I am glad you find the blog helpful.
Everybody start from zero. The most important thing is the first step. Most never do that one. 🙂
The blog or my online course are for people who are true beginners. If the design sketching course is something that may interest you, I can update you on when I will reopen again.
See you!
Hi my name is Mauricio, but i prefer Max, I from Chicago and I attend Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. My first art class was when i started high school. I took a drawing class and ever since then I’ve been obsessed with minuet details of lines. It’s hard to pinpoint or even explain where my passion for drawing and design comes from but I think like any other language, sketching is important because it is another way to express and experience the world within and surrounding us. Too me sketching is the most powerful way to visually express ones self.
Hello Max,
I totally agree, sketching is so cool when you can drop what you have in mind on paper! That’s a great feel! I don’t say it’s easy but but so worth working at getting better everyday.

Now i’m really serious about becoming one . I’m trying to draw everyday and learn from many artists online . I’m so glad to be able to come across your site , so many great tutorials and tips . Thank you very much and keep up the good work.
