  • Hello there!
I am Laís, from Brazil, and I’m searching to study and improve my sketching skills for design and my drawings. For now I’m focused at learning about perspectives and apply at my concept arts!
Thank you so much for your work, have a great day!

  • Hello i’m Ugo,Just got to know about this site XD I’m quite adept at digital illustration, character design and graphic design but studied mechanical engineering for a bachelors degree. My brain is kinda split into two right now and i feel industrial design might fix it, so i want to channel my creativity and drawing skills in that direction. I’m still not sure if industrial design is right for me or i should just go for animation

    • I would say try to meet people, students but also who are in the industry.
You may go to private school you may target in animation or product design and meet teachers who are also professionals. They can share with you a lot I am sure ! 🙂

At the end, follow your heart. That’s the ultimate one you can trust to make you go through the obstacles you will meet. Why ? Because your passion will transform any problems into challenges ! 🙂

  • Hi! Im Anadhya, form India. Im a product design student and i would like to improve my sketching skills. im not very good at it.

  • Hi! Esra from Turkey. I think I am good in 3D perception and I can draw different forms in my mind easily. :)But I have some problems in visualizing my ideas. I cannot understand the reason behind not being able to sketch a form as easily as I can imagine in my mind. If I am trying to visualize what I have in my mind, it can take long time, and I can miss other ideas until finishing the first sketch. I would be glad, if there was a tool that wouldn’t necessiate hands to draw an idea, by e.g. being controlled merely by brain. 🙂 What do I specifically need for improving my skill?

    • Hello Esra,

A cool way to start better seeing volumes in your mind, is to start by drawing cubes in any angle. That will be the basics of drawing any object later on. Soon you will be able to imagine a cube in your mind and turn it from imagination. 🙂

Go ahead with the Designer Starter Kit ! That’s what you are going to study in the guides.

      Have fun !
      Cheers,
      Chou-Tac

      • Thanks Chou-Tac. I am a member of your “Sketch like the pros” course. Unfortunatelly couldn’t be a VIP member. If it could get be possible later, I would be glad to be informed. I watched first week videos, and even these were beneficial.

        Thanks & Greetings
        Esra
