Im from the US and I’m 59. I’m a mechanical designer using CAD and would like to be able to do some initial concepts before 3D modeling. I found your blog in a Google search. I design bottles and I can do flat concepts but I’m lacking the skills to shade and give them depth. I would like to learn how to create better concepts using digit drawing tools.
Hi Randy,
To give depth to the bottle, I recommend you Contour lines instead of Shading.
It is much faster and communicative:

I’m 70, living in Virginia but originally from Massachusetts.

Hi, am 77 years old living in Sweden and I drawing and painting is my hobby. I know the basics of perspective drawing but I want to be better in drawing tilted and skewed boxes and also cylinders of different types using boxes as an aid.
