My problems.
Im really looking for putting the fundamental figures in some easy context to get a grip of how to use them effectively. I do them just fine while the warm up but when I’m about to do them on the actual sketch I mess that ellipse or straight line up. So I need to relax and have bunch of training but even though I’m filling page after page Im not getting better.
I am a 20 year old college student from Asia. I want to improve my perspective and sketching overall.
I have just recently got into art seriously and want to really learn the drawing skills. After bouncing around here and there, I realized the key to good drawing is really being able to draw basic shapes and forms with confidence and good markmaking. So I hope to be able to learn about those from this blog.

Hello. I live in the state of Tennessee. I’ve been drawing since a young age. I run a small business selling my art. Shoe designing has recently become an interest of mine. I’ve always had the love for shoes, comfortable ones. For someone who has problem feet comfort is important, but with comfort style should still be an option.
I was surfing the web when I came across the blog…all by accident. Learning from those who already are designing shoes is priceless. Passing on their wisdom and experiences is something I look forward to.

I am from the US and I will be turning 26 this year. I want to learn to sketch better as I have always dreamed of being a character/ concept designer for TV or video games and learning the basics and how to sketch properly to convey ideas would be very beneficial! My students will like the beauty that comes through that messy portrait example, and it may encourage them to persevere with these dynamic line art tools.
