I am in the United States. I am 63 years old. I have always had a passion for drawing and art.
I find it hard to find the time I need to sit and draw. As an engineer and company owner, it it hard to find free time.
I am really interested in photo realistic drawing with pencil, color pencil, and markers.

That is true that drawing takes time.
However, drawing a bit is better than never.
I invite you to doodle note sometimes to get a little shoot of drawing happiness.
You just need a small notebook, or if you don’t grab any surface you could draw on (napkin, paper cup, receipt…)
With practice, soon it will become a new habit. 🙂

Im Mexican but live in Japan. I teach design in a university. since Design Department belongs to faculty of engineering , students are not like art-university students, who already have a drawing high level. So Im looking for approaches, techniques and examples tat can be useful for teaching students. Thank you for your valuable effort! Wish my university has a program for inviting people like you to perfom a few days workshop! If I manage to create on will contact you.

Hello there l just seared utube ,my favourite channel. I live in Tasmania, used to draw and sketch, and starting over again and need the basics. Was thinking of paying for the Drawing Acadamy course. I need to start with your lessons first . I am retired, have a lot of spare time to practice. LOL

1-I am currently from Delaware and teaching in Maryland. I am 70 years young.
2-I want to get a new “perspective” on drawing and sketching. I was a fine artist who taught art in a Private Special Education School in Pennsylvania . When I moved here in the 80’s I got a job in Special Ed teaching various subjects and continued doing my art on my own and opened an Arts School in my community. For the past 35 years I have been teaching in a Private k-12 School in Maryland butDigital Art and Graphic Design. I also co-own a web design, graphics and web hosting LLC.I am retiring and want to get back to drawing and sketching.

Hello everyone my name is Joshua and I’m from California. I’m 43 years old. I want to learn to sketch because I want to refine my drawing skills and also to relax when I have free time. I actually discovered this blog when I was looking for drawing tutorials for sketching.
It has been several years since the last time I drew and now that I’m retired from the military, I’m looking to get back into sketch.
What I hope to learn from this blog is simply to learn the fundamentals and essentials of sketch and branch out into portrait work, etc.
