07 Best Product Design Sketching Ressource (Better than books too)

I was looking for sketching books and videos to learn techniques of where to start and to understand what I’m doing wrong. I tried various things, then the design sketch book caught my eye and I downloaded the pdf. After following the first few rules, I realized that this actually makes sense. And I continued following some of the challenges as well. – Khushboo, 28 India, Product designer for Consumer electronics.

To be honest, at the beginning I thought it was like a fake course, and even I wanted to learn how to sketch like a pro, I didn’t trust the site (I think it was because of the UI) But after googling a lot and thanks to the chance of watching for free how was the course, I found out that it was a real and interesting site! It helped me a lot to start drawing basic shapes. But I want to learn more!
And now that I want to apply for a 3D Modelling in Automotive design Master’ degree, I have to learn how to sketch the exteriors and the interiors of the cars…
I think that this project you made is awesome because all the books I bought only give you examples of sketches but doesn’t show you how to draw it!
I think I’m struggling a lot with manage my time to draw something everyday. So I thought that a really good idea could be like a sketching calendar, for example: First week of April we have to draw a specific product you say to us, and then during that week we can post that sketches and make something like a community of people that want to improve their skills in this field!
Another thing that could be interesting is a “difficult shadows” module because I can’t find nothing about it on the internet! I’m really excited to start this new course! – Dipti, 23 Spain
