Yesterday I went to the hospital for a body check-up in Saigon. I checked my hung, liver, stomach, blood, cholesterol, diabetes, and so on… In the end, the doctor said I am 100% healthy. : )
Once in a while, do a complete health check-up!

The Saigon hospital felt like a bustling Sunday supermarket, people flowing everywhere, moving in all directions, yet remarkably, there was an underlying sense of order amidst the chaos.
I had to do a series of test. Each additional body check meant navigating through another waiting room, one at a time. Between those moments of waiting, I found little pockets of free time perfect for sketching.
My friend pulled out a stack of Post-its from her bag, and I began drawing quick thumbnail sketches of the people around me, capturing those fleeting moments with simple, spontaneous strokes. This unexpected break turned the crowded hospital into a lively, inspiring sketching session.
Boost Your Creativity on the Go. Doodle on Post-Its!
One thing I’ve learned over years of sketching: creativity isn’t waiting in a perfect studio. It lives in the everyday, the unexpected, and yes, the small moments. That’s why I always carry a pack of Post-its with me.
Why? Because Post-its are freedom in a tiny square. No pressure. No wasted paper. Just quick, honest sketches that capture the world as it passes by.
Capture Life as It Happens
Post-its help you see differently. Waiting for coffee? A few strokes can catch the curve of a mug or the posture of the barista. On the bus, glance outside and grab the shapes of buildings or people in motion. These little snapshots train your eye and your hand, making observation part of your daily rhythm.
Simplicity is the key. A few fast lines can say so much.
Sharpen Your Skills, One Little Square at a Time
Drawing on a tiny canvas pushes you to focus and distill what really matters in a subject. It’s like a playful challenge that also trains discipline, your lines get more confident, your style clearer.
And mistakes? Don’t sweat it. Post-its are your playground. Each one is a fresh chance to try again.
Make the Habit Yours
Put a few Post-its and a pencil in your pocket every day. Set small goals, like one doodle a day or a mini-series through the week. Pin them on your wall or notebook and watch those humble sketches turn into a visual story of your journey as an artist.
Draw Your Inspiration Now
Remember: creativity isn’t about perfect conditions. It’s about capturing now. So, start your Post-it challenge today and discover how small squares can unleash big ideas.
Let’s keep drawing, step by step, moment by moment.
TIP 10 Do Post-it sketch anywhere you go!
Doodling on post-it may not give instant great results, but it’s fun to get a bit more observant of local people and their environment. So, keep the eye-opening, and enjoy the present moment. It is like urban sketching.
And you, do you also like sketching anything, anywhere?

What are “tabs” that you speak about in your random shapes video, the one that goes over shape, contour lines, bumps and details????
Hey there!
I am looking for a person that can make a 2D drawing from a 3D model. I saw that you have made a video about that, and thought that you was interested. I need a sketch based on a 3D earbud model. Contact me if you are interested!
Kind Regards,
