Want to Draw Realistic Women’s Body Armour? Start with the Body Beneath
When designing or sketching women’s body armour, too many artists jump straight to the plating and decoration. But the secret to believable, well-fitted armour lies in what you can’t see: the human form beneath it.
Armour, after all, is engineered to protect the body while allowing movement. If you don’t understand how the muscles, curves, and joints function, your design risks looking stiff or artificial.
Designing women’s body armour is a dynamic dance between anatomy and creativity. Once you truly “see” the body beneath, every line of armour you draw will look purposeful, comfortable, and alive.
TIP 4 Assemble a body armour
An armour can cover and hide a high percentage of the body. Visualize well the body below, it will help you to assemble that armour.
